Google Workspace Integration
Connect Google Workspace to let Omni manage your email, calendar, and documents.
Overview
The Google Workspace integration connects Omni to your Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Contacts, Sheets, and Forms — enabling you to manage your productivity tools through conversation.
Setup
- Go to Settings → Integrations in your Omniops dashboard
- Select Google Workspace
- Click Connect with Google
- Sign in with your Google account and grant the requested permissions
- Select which services to enable
Available Services
Gmail
Omni can read, draft, and send emails on your behalf:
- "Do I have any unread emails from clients?"
- "Draft a reply to Sarah's email about the proposal"
- "Send a follow-up to the team about the project deadline"
Email drafts require your explicit approval before sending.
Google Calendar
Manage your schedule through natural conversation:
- "What's on my calendar today?"
- "Schedule a meeting with the design team on Thursday at 3pm"
- "Move my 2pm meeting to 4pm"
- "Block off Friday afternoon for focused work"
Google Drive
Access and search your documents:
- "Find the Q4 report in my Drive"
- "What spreadsheets did I edit this week?"
Google Contacts
Look up contact information:
- "What's Sarah's email address?"
- "Show me contacts from Acme Corp"
Permissions
Omniops requests only the permissions needed for the services you enable. You can revoke access at any time from your Google Account settings or from the Omniops integrations page.
Important Notes
- Google Workspace tools are business-only — they are never exposed to the customer-facing chat widget
- Email sending always requires explicit approval
- All credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption
